Saturday Night Live 'SNL' is a live late-night television sketch comedy and variety show developed by Lorne Michaels and Dick Ebersol. It premiered on October 11, 1975 and is still in production airing on the NBC network. Every week, the show features a guest host who delivers an opening monologue and performs in comedy sketches with its cast regulars. A musical guest also performs during the show. The sketches often parody contemporary American culture and politics. Lana Lang appears in SNL's 1979 sketch titled "Superhero Party" and is played by the talented comedian Jane Curtain.

Episode Synopsis:
Superman (Bill Murray) and Lois Lane (Margot Kidder) are throwing a party inviting several of their closest 'superhero' friends. Their guests include The Flash (Dan Aykroyd), Lana Lang (Jane Curtin), The Hulk (John Belushi), Spider-Man, The Thing, and several others. Hilarity ensues as these settled aging superheroes mingle with one another discovering hidden truths about themselves during the party.
